Dolphins & Friendship Boats
Every other visit to Walt Disney World or so, I find myself walking along the Boardwalk area at just the right time of day for the most amazing sunset. If you have never visited late in the day, add it to your itinerary. There is a stillness to the energy at sunset, if that makes sense, and is just a piece of magic that is only partially constructed by the geniuses at Imagineering. What isn’t conceptualized is a gift from Florida itself. Definitely makes for a good photo op.
Oh, and I’m also obsessed with Friendship Boats…so there is that.
In this edit, I wanted to capture the sun and all the colors exploding from behind the Dolphin, and that was the focus. I have horrible luck getting the Dance Hall sign to cooperate, but this sunset was not going to be marred by that fact. The foreground I left lowly lit because I wanted it to be the movement and energy in the photo, but almost an afterthought. Surprisingly little was done aside from adjusting the shadows.
Yeah…this is a whole mood. *sigh*
